RightShip attended the first XXX CooperaPortos event in Brazil

RightShip’s Nuno Vendeirinho recently spoke at the XXX CooperaPortos event at Porto Sudeste in Rio de Janeiro. In his talk, Nuno explored the power of data and digitalization to help ports transform their safety standards and emissions profiles. With technologies already available, ports and terminals can make remarkable headway measuring and tackling GHG emissions, air quality, and common safety challenges.

CooperaPortos is an initiative developed by Brazil’s National Waterway Transport Agency (ANTAQ) and Porto Sudeste, and promotes dialogue between stakeholders in port management, sharing best practice, sparking debate and seeking solutions.

The theme of the event was ‘The ESG strategy applied to the port sector’, and the RightShip Americas team was represented ty Nuno, as well as Bernardo Vettorazzi. Nuno and Bernardo developed vital links at CooperaPortos, bolstering our work supporting ports and terminals around the world to better grapple with their biggest challenges, and helping the maritime industry move towards zero harm.
