Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
At RightShip, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are fundamental to our organisational values. We are committed to creating a workplace that embraces diversity and inclusivity, ensuring that every member of our team can thrive and grow. Our aim is not only to lead by example within the maritime industry but also to drive positive change, promoting DEI awareness and best practices.
Women’s Network
On International Women’s Day, March 8th, 2023, we proudly launched RightShip’s Women’s Network. This group is dedicated to advancing gender diversity within our organisation, providing a platform for empowerment, and advocating for the progress of women in our industry. We aspire to contribute to greater gender equality in the maritime sector.
Diversity at RightShip
We embrace diversity in every sense, with employees from various nationalities, backgrounds, and generations. Our goal is to ensure that every team member feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed on their own terms. We actively promote gender pay parity, establish Employee Resource Groups like the Women’s Network, and most importantly integrate DEI considerations into our hiring process. This includes assessing candidates with an additional DEI lens and strategically enhancing our interview panels to ensure diverse representation.
The Path Forward
Our diversity has been a source of strength, driving industry-leading product development and offering diverse perspectives. We aim to lead the maritime industry toward a future where diversity, equity, and inclusion are intrinsic values. We incorporate DEI metrics into our assessments, share best practices, and collaborate with like-minded organisations to foster industry-wide change.
