This core absorbs dangerous snap-back forces in the event of outer rope failure, transforming a potentially fatal recoil into a safer, controlled slump. Built in compliance with MEG4/OCIMF and SOLAS II-1/3-8 requirements, the ASB rope significantly enhances safety during mooring operations.
SAFE LINE Mooring Management Software:
Complementing its physical products, Black Rope’s SAFE LINE software provides a digital platform for Mooring Health Monitoring and Management. Designed to ensure full compliance with MEG4 and SOLAS standards, the tool enables fleet operators to track line usage, assess rope conditions, and identify when replacements are due—reducing human error and ensuring timely maintenance. Optional RFID integration allows for seamless tracking, and its intuitive interface supports simple, safe onboard inspections.
