Updates to Vetting Baseline Criteria

RightShip has made a series of updates to our vetting baseline criteria.

Our vetting criteria is at the heart of our vessel vetting service, which enables our customers to make better decisions for their ships, the welfare of their crews, and the security of their cargoes.

The changes we’ve made reflect a spirit of continuous improvement at RightShip, incorporating industry feedback, and best practice learnings from our experienced vetting superintendents.

The updates include multiple clarifications to help shipowners and managers better understand the criteria, and the addition of technical details.

Our changes to the vetting baseline criteria will come into place from the 31st of August 2023. You can download our criteria for dry bulk vessels here,  and our criteria for tankers, tugs and barges here.

All changes are detailed in the documents’ appendices.
