Michael Meadon, Director, Asia Pacific, LSEG
Mike leads LSEG’s Customer & Third Party Risk Solutions business in Asia. In this role, he helps define LSEG’s go-to-market, product and content strategies, including for the flagship World-Check, Digital Onboarding, and Enhanced Due Diligence products. He is particularly focused on keeping abreast of regulatory, industry and technological developments, to ensure LSEG continues to innovate and develop products that meet client needs.

Ankur Kumar, Head of APAC Research at World-Check, LSEG
Ankur Kumar is currently the head of APAC research at World-Check, and he is responsible for management of World-Check research offices in Singapore and Penang which collate risk relevant content for APAC. He is a Certified Anti Money laundering specialists (CAMS) with a master’s degree in international relations. He is also the Content Professional for APAC responsible for client engagements as it relates to AML/CFT issues.

Taner Umac, Head of Operations, EMEA, RightShip
Taner is a Master Mariner with extensive Chemical and Product Tanker experience. He joined RightShip as a Vetting Superintendent in February 2016. Being part of London team, he assists customers in managing their exposure to marine risk by identifying and eliminating substandard ships from their supply chain, whilst keeping direct contact with shipowners/managers to improve overall maritime safety standards in the industry.  Before RightShip, he worked as a consultant and supervised several tank cleaning operations, conducted several audits and inspections on board. He also took part in a project to apply VR technologies into maritime training. Taner is passionate about improving the quality of training standards and create a safer work environment in shipping.  

Charlene Grech, Product Manager , RightShip
Charlene is driven by her passion for harnessing technology to foster innovation and enhance efficiency. In her role as a Product Manager, she has recently spearheaded a collaboration with LSEG, orchestrating its integration into RightShip's workflow. Her goal is to streamline operations and maximize delivery efficiency through this strategic partnership. Prior to that, Charlene demonstrated her leadership capabilities by leading the Quality Assurance team within RightShip. In this role, she was responsible for ensuring the overall quality and timely delivery of the end products.

Moderated by Andrew Roberts, Executive Director, EMEA, RightShip
As Head of EMEA, Andrews oversees RightShip’s business across the EMEA Region. This includes delivering growth in line with RightShip’s group strategy and stewardship of RightShip’s EMEA customers and colleagues. He offers extensive experience in operational, commercial, business development and technical shipping roles, and led commercial and safety transformational change whilst holding senior leadership positions with Teekay Shipping and Anglo International Shipping Operations Limited.
