GHG - How to make a Request for Information (RFI) from within an Environmental Review Request (INTERNAL ONLY)
To avoid searching for information in email threads, send RFIs from within the Rightship Platform, using the following steps.
Whether you are looking at a vet, GHG verification or inspection, the Request for Information (RFI) workflow helps you avoid cumbersome email correspondence. It's a faster, simpler way to communicate within the Rightship platform.
1. To submit an RFI, navigate to an Environmental Review Request. Then click on the 'more' button (3-dots icon), and click 'Create RFI'.
2. This will open the Create RFI form for you to complete.
3. The recipient will receive an email, with the contents of the RFI, prompting them to provide the requested information. If they are unable to provide it, the email can be forwarded to any third party who can.
4. Once the recipient provides the information, it will open a new webform. Only those with access to this unique URL will be able to see the communications.
5. When a response has been received, the status of the Environmental Review request will change to 'Review Required', and you will see a notification icon next to the correspondence tab, indicating that a response to the RFI has been received.
6. If and when you are satisfied with the response, you need select 'Close RFI'. If not, you can 'Reply' back to the recipient.
Please note: All RFI's must be closed in order to complete an Environmental Review Request.
