Job Details

The Role

We have and exciting opportunity for a to join our team as a Data Officer

Your primary role will be to mange the master data set, develop reports, and troubleshoot data issues. You will be responsible for maintaining our vetting database by receiving and inputting Port State Control and Incident data into the Platform in an accurate and timely manner.  This role will require you to review the quality of Root Cause Analysis, Corrective and Preventative Action plans submitted for Port State Control deficiencies, and if required to engage with Ship Managers on the requirements for satisfactory close-out.

The role requires a very fine eye for detail along with a deep understanding of the maritime industry. 

What you bring:

  • Chief Mate or 2nd Engineer (CoC) and have sailed on International Trading vessels for a minimum of 5 years
  • demonstrates a strong background in safety – Oil Major/Tanker background preferable
  • Incident Investigation / Root Cause Analysis Training
